Our Curriculum

Our whole-school curriculum embraces Islamic Studies and the National Curriculum programme of study in line with our vision and proposed objectives.

  • Core subjects are: Literacy, Numeracy, Science, Islamic Studies and Arabic
  • Foundation subjects are: Art/D&T, ICT, Topic (Geography, History, Citizenship) and PE.
  • Drama and singing are embedded in the curriculum and Religious Studies (study of a non Islamic faith) is taught in a compulsory unit in the Topic subject. PSHE is taught thematically in KS1 and timtabled explcitly in KS2.


*The curriculum is reviewed annually to ensure pupils are receiving the best opportunities to make progress.
